Voting Rules

01How voting works

Each Discord account can vote for each bot once every 12 hours. Votes add up forever and decide the ranking. The votes a bot receives within a month decide that month's Hall of Fame.

You need a Discord account at least 30 days old to vote, and you may need to pass a quick captcha.

Bot owners can vote for their own bot, with the same limit as everyone else.

02Not allowed

Voting with more than one account (alts), with accounts you control for someone else, or with any kind of automation, script or self-bot.

Buying or selling votes, or paying people in real money, Nitro, gift cards or anything outside the bot in exchange for votes.

Vote exchange groups ("vote for mine and I vote for yours") and organized vote farming.

Mass DMs, mass mentions or spam asking for votes, on Discord or anywhere else.

Locking the main features of a bot behind voting. Extra rewards are fine; the bot has to work without voting.

03Allowed

Asking your users to vote with a command, a message in your support server or a button in your bot.

Giving in-bot rewards for voting (coins, roles, perks, cooldown boosts), as long as the core bot works without them. You can show the reward on your vote page in API & webhooks.

Using the vote webhook and the vote reminder to thank voters and bring them back.

04What happens if the rules are broken

We watch for suspicious votes. Votes that break these rules can be removed without notice.

Depending on how serious it is, the bot can be suspended or banned, the owner's account can be suspended or banned, and Hall of Fame titles won with invalid votes can be taken away.

If you think a bot is cheating, use the Report button on its page. If your bot was punished by mistake, talk to the team in the official Discord server.
